Why do we need alternative energy in our modern society?

Lots of people still wonder why we need to concern ourselves with the troubles of alternative energy. These people tend to forget that our need for energy is still rising, while we use natural resources that are know to become depleted shortly. We know about the various disadvantages of our usage of these resources while we also know that now kinds of energy is available to us. If we would adapt to these alternative resources we will avoid loads of the problems we are facing right now. The most important one is that the usage of these alternative resources is that they don’t leave a footprint, whatsoever.

What kinds of alternative energy do exist and what are their names?

Whatever machinery, building or whatever is used in order to produce energy is the kind of energy manufacturers that need to be replaced with alternative energy. At the same time we should realize that the State employees of the European Commission is expecting that due to the usage of alternative energy and the rise of demand for energy will create, as a market, 2.8 million jobs by the year 2020. This is an additional benefit that should be added to the advantages of alternative energy.

Here is the list of the various kinds of alternative energy sources.

Wind turbines propelled by wind; wind energy

Solar power: Electromagnetic solar radiation or solar energy

Energy generated from the heat of the earth; geothermal energy

Using the water resources in order to generate energy; hydro power or hydro energy

The moment I am writing this piece of content, bio gas is the most promising of all. Why? Because it has so many advantages. And these benefits can already be found at the beginning of the production process. As ingredients we can use all kinds of materials or ingredients. We can use garbage from our households, fertilizers, manure from animals, the leftovers from milk products, the waste from bio diesel plants as well as juice factories. It all can be used; the waste!. All ingredients are dumped into the bio reactor that mixes the ingredients while it is insulated. At the same time all is heated. A beautiful and impressive process we call a synthesized process. I have to mention that it is important to realize that the unit has to have an aerobic-anaerobic structure.

Bio gas plant is a system of interrelated elements. These include special engineering facilities that provide training materials, production of bio gas, its purification and storage, and also generate heat and electricity. What makes bio gas plants and bio gas plant? Last – it’s wider and three-dimensional concept, it is a common structural unit of production, and the first function as processing raw materials into bio gas and fertilizer.

This is a big advantage: We get rid of waste and at the same time we are producing organic fertilizers that can be sold and at the same time we are producing energy. Among the other advantages, like green energy, no footprints, relative low cost in order to produce and due to the kind of ingredients it needs, these plants can be put anywhere as it only needs waste. And that is where people are.

Other forms of alternative energy sources

We have already listed them. Now, let’s briefly look at each. Let’s start with wind power. Scientists believe that many countries can benefit from this resource for about 10% of the energy for the whole country. Wind turbines convert the kinetic wind energy into electricity. In our time it is actually put this setup in his house, thus ensuring his family by an independent source of energy for many years.

What do we mean by bio fuel? Bio fuel can be found in biological raw materials like corn seeds, soybean and sugar cane. It doesn’t even matter how it is supplied; in liquid form, solid or gaseous. Some think that this bio fuel cannot compete with normal fuels, but this is doubted more and more as we start to learn to maximize its capacity at an increasing speed. It is expected that bio fuels will have the same capacity soon or even surpass it.

Solar power; we all are familiar with it. After all they are already build in most of the calculators we use at home in order to do our homework. It has no negative effects for the environment and at the same time it doesn’t leave any footprint behind.

Water is a unique phenomenon, the source of life and existence is not only the man himself, but all living creatures and plants. Now we can get from water energy, without affecting its quality or quantity. Scientists have learned how to extract the energy of sea waves, tides, as well as build hydro power plants.

So we shouldn’t question the need for alternative energy. We should start to implement it as soon as possible. The advantages are too obvious. We need to change our behaviours, as we know what we are doing with our planet at the moment. We are leaving behind big footprints and the resources are depleting at tremendous speeds. Maybe we should start to focus on bio gas as this way of producing energy is really promising. But the main reason remains: we get rid of waste while we produce fertilizer and energy from it.
