The fuel economy is actually pretty decent for its size. And I agree, getting a foreign made SUV is a waste of money. They're overpriced and they won't give you anything more than what a GMC will. America makes the best large vehicles while Europe and Japan make the best smaller vehicles. Gotta go with GMC or Ford for a large vehicle.
References :
I won't say no because they are gorgeous new vehicles. If you still aren't trying to get super good gas mileage then go for it. The Yukon hybrids still only get 20mpg city and highway so its your call. I know its better then it was but its not a huge difference.
References :
Buy the GM, they have by far the best SUV's.

I would wait another year. First the GM hybrid only works when you are at a complete stop. Second GM with 2 other manafactures are making a new hybrid for 09 with 40% better in town and 25% better on highway.
References :
Yes it is. But if you like luxury 4x4s, you should consider Toyota Landcruiser
References :
2008 GMC Yukon Hybrid - take a look?
And remember I live up North in Michigan - the 4x4 is a must.
I also have a wife - and 3 small kids.
ages 8 - 6 - 3

I get discounted price for being a UAW member
and I also get discount for being a hybrid repair facility.

16+ years auto customizing
14 year shop owner
ASE master certified
hybrid repair facility
also employ 4 ASE certified techs - and 2 trainees.

I am looking to trade the current family vehicle - I think it is about that time. Due to the high miles.

I think it is a great vehicle - any thoughts?????
Toyota landcruiser - 63,200.00
13/18 MPG

The GMC looks bigger - on the inside.
And gets a lot better mileage.

Nice truck - but I'm sticking with GMC Ford Dodge on this, the foreign ones are all to small.
