Always use the highest gear possible, no jack-rabbit starts, no
sudden stops, drive 5 mph under the speed limit. A car running 55mph @ 2200rpm will always get better mileage than a car running 70mph @ 2700rpm.
Don't run the rpm's up so far before shifting, shift asap, use highest gear to keep rpm's lower.
The lower the rpm's the more mpg's you achieve
References :
35+ years automotive repair

3. dont go past 3. try not to over accelerate alot and brake too much. Slowly accelerate soo you dont kill your gas and dont go past 3000 rpms
