The world’s nations are concerned about the potential end of fossil fuels and the effect this would have on their energy infrastructures. Equally of concern is the economy, both the global economy and the economies of the individual nations. There is broad agreement amongst them that these two concerns – green energy and economy – are intertwined. Amongst the nations looking for solutions is Canada.

In 2008 more money was invested in renewable energy, worldwide, than the total investment in nuclear, coal and natural gas electricity. 148 billion US dollars were invested in green energy projects across the world. This investment trend continues today and it stands to reason then that nations who develop green energy will be in the market for this capital. Canada will need to look to its available resources and needs if it wishes to maintain its strong position in the emerging global market, as most developed nations, especially Canada’s neighbors, are working to attract this money for themselves.

For instance, the US has just invested almost 14 times as much money in green energy than Canada did in last year’s Federal budget.

Another cause for concern and research and development in renewable energy is the need to reduce carbon emissions in order to halt or slow climate change. The International Energy Agency calculates that the nations of the Major Economies Forum need to spend three to six times more per year than they are currently if they wish to reach their goal of fifty percent reduction in emissions from 2005 levels by 2050.

A notable initiative toward that end is the development of procedures and technologies for carbon capture and storage. Canada has put itself forward as an innovator in this area of research and development and has committed some considerable amounts of money toward this end. But nations who are not yet fully sold on the necessity of curbing carbon emissions such as Australia and the USA still spend hundreds of millions more than the nineteen million spent by Canada.

Right now Canada has a strong head start from which to develop an renewable energy economy and infrastructure. The majority of Canada’s electricity is generated by hydroelectric dams. In Quebec, Labrador, Yukon and Manitoba nearly all electricity is hydroelectric.

It is noted that Ontario, Quebec and the Prairies have strong potential for solar energy. Right now, little of Canada’s energy comes from solar power. However, there are solar-powered systems across the country set up for non-electric space and water heaters. By 2025, government studies demonstrate five percent of Canadian energy requirements will be filled by solar power.

If you’re in the market for used auto sales, Austin’s DriveTime dealerships have a wide selection of vehicles to choose from. We know that it can be very difficult to get financed for a vehicle when you have poor credit, but at DriveTime we focus on getting people with bad credit into a used auto. Other dealerships may claim they can sell you a car no matter what your credit history is, but all too often this turns out to be an empty promise. That’s why you can count on DriveTime to find you a used car that you will be proud to drive!

Canada has stretches of territory that are sparsely populated. Many others are difficult to access and so are off the country’s main energy grid. Photovoltaic cells are used as standalone units to insure that remote communities still have power. PV cells are batteries whose semiconductors directly generate electrical power when exposed to light. The only other option is to use costly standalone diesel fuel systems to power crucial sources such as remote homes, telecommunications equipment and navigational devices.

As for wind power, ninety-nine wind farms already give Canada 1.1 percent of its electricity. Per the Canadian Wind Energy Association, this can increase to 55,000 MW in fifteen years and provide for twenty percent of Canadian electric power.

The impact on the economy is already on display in parts of the country. Ontario’s Green Energy and Green Economy Act of 2009 incentivizes homeowners to use renewable energy generators like solar panels by offering low- or no-interest loans to finance the cost.

British Columbia is turning toward a green economy the creation of which has already produced 117,000 full time jobs and makes up over fifteen billion dollars of the province’s GDP. GLOBE Foundation of Canada has estimated British Columbia’s development of a renewable resource economy will make the province worth over twenty-seven billion dollars in ten years.

However the debate in government and amongst citizens goes, it is clear that Canada has plenty natural energy, has proven skilled at creating energy systems that harvest it and in some provinces has already shown economic growth as a result of developments in green alternative energy and economy.

Solar Power devices, green energy sources like the field of science is around every day. The children learn with fun optical equipment, telescopes and science lab equipment.

Keeping up with the changes in the rental market Can be difficult. As we all know, there are just two ways to stay ahead in the property game. One is to boost your earnings, which usually means increasing the rent; the other is to lower your operating costs. In this competitive business, raising your tenants’ rent would probably cost you more money than you would make, causing your tenants to look elsewhere. With the market being what it is, they would have little difficulty finding landlords that are willing to reduce their rental rates. As a result, if you want to stay ahead, the best thing to do is to cut your expenses. Solar heating tubes reduce heating costs, lowering one of the bigger bills that you are likely to face, and do so for less than you might think.

Whether you own residential, commercial or industrial buildings, your tenants will use hot water. Providing hot water for your building is probably one of your biggest expenditures. If you want to cut your costs this would be a great place to begin. Installing solar heating tubes will help you reduce heating costs by heating some of your building’s water for free using just natural sunlight. Whatsmore, solar heating tubes are much more efficient than other solar power systems and will function whatever the weather.

Solar heating tubes are cylinder shaped tubes which take in sunlight and capture its energy in the form of heat. This cylindrical shape makes them more efficient than solar panels. Some of the tubes’ surface is continuously in contact with the sun allowing them to soak up energy all day long, whereas solar panels require direct sunlight to function.

Heat from the sun is absorbed by the tubes and stored internally by an inner tube of liquid. That liquid super-heats to 170 degrees Fahrenheit and is then introduced to your heating system. Put simply, this means that your solar heating tubes will be able to efficiently do the job they were intended to do, namely heat your building’s water. You could also reduce heating expenses by using the heated water to heat the entire building.

If you’re in the market for used auto sales, Austin’s DriveTime dealerships have a wide selection of vehicles to choose from. We know that it can be very difficult to get financed for a vehicle when you have poor credit, but at DriveTime we focus on getting people with bad credit into a used auto. That’s why you can count on DriveTime to find you a used car that you will be proud to drive!

The bottom line is that solar heating tubes reduce heating costs. If you can reduce your costs and subsequently lower your rent, this will give you an edge over your competition. With most of the civilized world calling for people to switch to renewable energy, you should seriously consider installing solar heating tubes as a way to cut down your carbon emissions and reduce heating expenses. Look into government programs that may defer some of the costs involved in installing solar heating tubes and other eco-friendly sources of energy production.

Of all of the benefits, perhaps the best reason to install solar heating tubes is so that your tenants will feel that you are doing everything possible to keep their carbon emissions and energy costs down. You may even find, should you be advertising for new tenants, that tenants are willing to pay more to rent buildings that will save them money in the long run and help the environment.

With the proper preparation and implementation, these systems can provide solar and wind power for residential homes and reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.

Personally Im 50/50 on global warming, I think there’s alot of hype but one thing is for certain, our current methods of harnessing power are ineffiecient, harmful to human beings at least and archaic.
Landlords, cut your bills with solar heating tubes. Recent developments in solar energy reception have made solar power practical even in locations where solar power was once believed to be unusable, specifically cloudy countries and cold climates.

Everyone that has spent any significant time in the building rental business will know that energy costs consume a great deal from your profit margin. These costs are often the responsibility of tenants, of course, but if you could cut these costs, you’d have a substantial edge in the property rental market. And the truth is that there is something you can do to substantially reduce your energy consumption energy consumption and help to save the environment at the same time. Landlords, cut your bills with solar heating tubes. Solar heating tubes are the newest development in solar technology, making it simple for you to harness the power of the most plentiful energy source available – sunlight. Solar heating tubes are more efficient than standard solar panels, and therefore can be used even in cloudy regions where solar panels would be ineffective for most of the year.

The Benefits of Solar Heating Tubes

Most people are familiar with solar panels. The technology has been around since the 60s, and we’ve all seen them on roof tops. Although they were a novel idea, they are impractical in many ways on the grounds that they can only absorb energy when placed in direct sunlight. The shape and methods of storing the energy once it was collected also caused much of the energy to be lost. Solar heating tubes address these design flaws by having a rounded, cylindrical shape, allowing them to be positioned in such a way that they receive solar energy throughout the day, thus gathering in more of the sun’s energy. The energy is also stored in a more efficient manner, employing a vacuum tube which retains a much higher percentage of the solar energy captured.

Solar heating tubes are ideal for providing hot water for your buildings, thereby lowering your landlord energy costs. If your building uses a central heating system, you might be able to save even more money by using your solar heating tubes to heat your whole building. The more solar power you can use, the less you’ll need to rely on other, more pricey forms of power. As an additional advantage, your building will appeal more to an increasingly environmentally conscious public, expanding your potential tenant base.

Green Energy Gives You an Edge in a Competitive Rental Market

Today’s rental market is highly competitive and it is only going to become more and more competitive in the future. Those who want to succeed have to do everything they can to give themselves an edge, and when a landlord cuts his bills with solar heating tubes, he gives himself several advantages over those that continue to rely entirely on fossil fuels and electricity.

With the USA and other governments now supporting green energy initiatives, the government will underwrite much of the costs in switching over to renewable energy technology. Solar heating tubes are a cutting edge green technology. Whether you own residential or industrial properties, landlords, you will cut your bills with solar heating tubes.

In the current business and political environment, smart landlords are desperately seeking new ways to adhere to government regulations and the demands of tenants. Finding more environment friendly ways to supply energy to our buildings can be a real challenge.

In today’s business and political environment, smart building owners are seeking new ways to adhere to government and tenant demands. Searching for more environment friendly ways of supplying energy to our buildings presents can be difficult.

You will have heard about the many benefits of wind energy, but you may not know about solar heating tubes: the other green energy source. There is no better, or more untapped, source of renewable energy than the sun. Every day, 365 days per year in most environments, the sun gives us several hours of ambient heat. Yet most of this energy goes to waste, while instead we burn carbon fuels, which are rapidly being depleted, and only becoming more and more expensive. Things will only get worse if we continue to rely on fossil fuels, so the time to embrace an environmentally favorable approach to supplying our energy needs is now, while many world governments are offering financial incentives.

Employing solar heating tubes to produce green energy provides several advantages, both to landlords and their tenants. Even if solar power is only used to heat the buildings water the savings can be enormous, depending on the buildings hot water consumption. Naturally, different buildings will use different quantities of warm water, but hot water is used for one reason or another in nearly every building, whether it’s tenants taking showers, doing laundry, washing dishes, or using warm water for general cleaning purposes. A lot of homes also employ radiant heat, which use coils of hot water beneath the flooring to heat the rooms. If your buildings are heated this way, you will be able to take even greater advantage of the energy cost savings by reducing the amount of oil, gas or electricity you use for heating your buildings.

In places like New York solar energy has always been regarded as ineffective as the weather is changeable and there is often not enough direct sunlight for solar panels to be effective. Solar heating tubes, on the other hand, work differently and are able to capture much more sunlight. The solar heating tubes can be positioned in such a way that they can collect solar energy during all daylight hours, as they have a larger surface area than conventional solar panels, which only receive optimal solar power when the sun shines directly on their flat surface. Coupled with the fact that the energy is then kept in copper rods and the tubes are vacuum-sealed, allowing hardly any of the energy to escape. So little, in fact, that the surface of the tubes remain cool to the touch even while the copper rods inside can be more than 300 degrees Fahrenheit. The introduction of these two factors makes it possible for landlords to utilize solar energy in colder climates. If you are a landlord in New York solar energy is now a practical alternative.

This really is one green energy system that you would be a fool not to take advantage of. Employing the alternative green technology, the solar heating tube, won’t just reduce your carbon footprint and help save the planet, but it also saves you a lot of money in the long run. When you look at it that way, it’s very difficult to come up with a good reason not to use solar heating tubes.

The Nomad 27M solar panel is a convenient source of power made in mono-crystalline solar technology. This particular product uses 27 watts of electricity, and is rechargeable in all types of weather. When it’s sunny, it can take as little as four and half-hours to recharge fully. When partly sunny, it takes up to 7 hours and 15 hours in overcast weather. These times may vary depending on the battery you are using. For instance, the Sherpa 120 will take 10, 17 and 36 hours in sunny, partly sunny and overcast weather respectively. Others like Ranger 350 will take 31, 45 and 100 hours to recharge fully in the three different types of weather respectively. This is not a long time to wait considering there are no bills to pay for the recharge!

Using mono-crystalline solar technology, the Nomad 27M solar panel is by all accounts an outstanding source of free electricity. Not only can the unit be charged during all types of weather, but it also pumps out a generous 27 watts. As far as charging the batteries are concerned, on can expect a full charge within as little as 4 to 5 hours, providing you have sunny conditions. Even when it’s only partly sunny, a full charge will usually take no longer than 7 hours, and if it’s completely overcast, 15 hours is usually adequate. With that said, the actual time it takes for the batteries to recharge fully does also depend on the type of batteries being used. Even though some batteries can take 30 or 40 hours to recharge during adverse weather, it’s not really much of an issue, considering you’re getting electricity with having to worry about bills.

There are two main differences between the 27M and the 13.5M models. First and foremost, the 27M produces a higher wattage, and secondly, it can also store energy for a greater length of time than the 13.5M. The two key differences make the 27M noticeably more efficient than the 13.5M. On a slightly different note, both models use a charging voltage of 12V, although the 27M does have an open 18V circuit.

Nomad 27M solar panel comes with three support rods made of aluminum, which provide stability when charging. You can use them to hold the panel in place when charging outdoors. It also comes with four sturdy grommets, which enable you to hang the panel at different angles. If you are worried about the clutter connecting electronics often brings, then you don’t have to anymore. It has a built in pocket that holds the connector cord in place when charging your items. This prevents the danger of someone tripping over the cord and being injured. You can place it at a far corner or if there are children in the house, you can easily put it under a chair or under the bed.

This solar panel is made of a hardwearing, durable material and will serve you for a long period. It is also water resistant, to protect it against the elements. This means you can leave it out all day and night and the morning dew or sudden rains will not affect it in any way. When not in use, simply fold it and put it in the case provided during purchase.

Jordan Eske has been helping people find solar products since the beginning of 2010. And the Nomad 27M Solar Panel helps people who want survival gear.

For every landlord energy costs are a concern, but there is a way to cut your energy needs and attract responsible tenants. By using the latest green technology, you can reduce the amount of fuel or electricity you use to heat your property. One of the best ways to achieve this is with solar heating tubes. Whether you are a commercial landlord or a residential landlord solar energy will help you attract an emerging clientele who are concerned about their ecological impact, either for practical or ideological reasons. As government regulations regarding energy consumption tighten, businesses are under increasing pressure to use facilities which reduce emissions as much as possible. Residential tenants are also becoming interested in homes which take advantage of alternative energy sources.

What Rewards Will Solar Heating Tubes Offer?

The extent of the benefits you can receive by installing solar heating tubes depends largely on what kind of heating system your building uses. The majority of buildings will be able to receive the advantages of using the solar heating tubes to heat your building’s water. Landlords with properties that make use of radiant heat could further benefit by using the solar heating tubes to heat the building itself. Either way, the savings can be quite huge, particularly over an extended period of time.

Solar heating tubes help you cut your heating costs even if your building is in a colder environment, or one that receives fewer days of direct sunshine. The cylindrical tubes are a fairly recent development, and represent a a new take on the flat solar panels which have been with us for fifty years. The round shape of the tubes means that they can be positioned in such a way that they are in continual contact with available sunlight, thus making best use of what solar energy is available. Additionally, vacuum tubes are used to ensure optimal insulation, making sure that hardly any of the collected energy is lost before being used for heating purposes within your building. The less energy is lost the less you have to rely on electricity or gas, which in the end affects your bottom line by cutting your heating expenses.

Spend Today, Save Tomorrow

Even though solar technology is nothing new, and environmentally aware clients have long encouraged building owners to find energy efficient, renewable sources for providing heat and electricity, the means to do so has now been developed. If you want to cut your energy bills and attract environmentally friendly tenants, you should strongly consider installing the newest solar heating tubes as soon as you can. With so many of the world’s governments now on board with renewable energy programs, and most of them giving big incentives for landlords green energy not only makes ethical and environmental sense, but financial sense too. Why wait?

Despite the fact that installing solar heating tubes can save you money, and despite the fact that using green energy will help you attract a new sort of tenant, it is also the right thing to do. Every step away from fossil fuels not only save you money, but help save the environment for all of us; and that, simply put, is just the right thing to do.

Conserving power and electricity should be everyone’s concern. We must not disregard the fact that our Mother nature is starting to collapse. We must act and let us start on the simple things we can do.

By being a concerned citizen, we can contribute to energy conservation by being mindful of our electricity consumption and helping our community in simple ways. One modern way is by building your own solar power to produce clean energy. There are no harmful side effects to be worried about with regard to this indigenous way of saving electrical energy.

The use of solar panels at home is advantageous and convenient. Since photovoltaic panels are now commercially available, producing solar power became easier. Solar power has been playing a major role even on the old times in providing the needs of early people. The common solar power installation was able to cover the passive heating needs, hot water supplies, and the occasional active heating system.

Solar power is not only for home use. Business establishments are becoming more practical and resorting now to this kind of power supply. People learn to harness the free form of energy from the sun because of its powerful nature.

To answer the domestic needs of every community, resorting to alternative form of energy becomes the only right thing to do. Solar power helps a lot in generating electrical supplies for businesses and different homes. It can be possible by using batteries for storage purposes.

Solar power produces supplementary type of electricity to power up household appliances and electronic devices throughout the day. It also covers the night time through the efficient banks of batteries that hold the “charge” received from the heat of the sun.

Some DIY solar power installation provides mutual benefits to the users and providers. It makes use of “net metering” that actually “sells” the electric power back to the utility company resulting to a lower monthly bill.

Consumers rise in numbers every year and the solar power awareness can really help in making the Earth a more sustainable planet and a conducive place to live in. Some solar power system does not work 24 hours straight but it is not an issue since it can still help in slowly decreasing the electric consumption.

You can seek for professional guidance if you are confused with the different DIY solar power manuals. Some installation still needs supervision to ensure that it will work. Using is a very good investment and guarantees positive result.

Learn to make diy solar panels on your home? You’ll save boatloads of cash. Just go here to find out more about solar energy for homes and create your own panels now.

Media has been informing us the current condition of our environment and has advised us to reduce our carbon footprint to help save the planet.

When you use the solar power, no amount of energy and quality is sacrificed through out the use. Since solar energy is one of the main sources of renewal energy, thinking of ways to harness it is very practical.

You will be able to reduce the fuel and electricity consumption if you will utilize the energy coming from the sun. It may not be a direct result but you can still see noticeable change in terms of monthly rates. As the cost of oil continues to rise, you electric bill do the same.

By being innovative and resourceful, you can save more. You can even influence others in doing their own solar panels, too. By doing so, everyone can help the community in supporting clean energy.

As you use solar power, you can save more on the investment and on your bills, too. Maintenance is also cheap and you will just need your time and effort to keep it working properly.

You can begin the process by converting your main electricity grid into solar panels for power supply. This does not require technical knowledge because you can find instructions from handy guidelines. As long as you have the materials and common sense for understanding, you can be successful in building your own solar power.

Just decide on the amount of energy you would like to supply and wait till you meet your target savings. You can even think out of the box. You can also sell your DIY solar power to larger companies if you want to have instant earning.

Few things must be done so that your solar power can maximize its effectiveness in terms of power saving. For example, consider changing your light bulbs to low- watts, use appliances that are energy-efficient, carry out subtle energy conservation.

Switching to green energy wherever possible will speak volumes about your ethics to prospective renters.

Many landlords are now starting to seriously think about climate change, and using solar heating tubes and green energy to warm a building’s water can go a long way towards addressing a tenant’s concerns. Whether you have commercial property, industrial buildings or residential apartments, your prospective clientele will see the fact that a building uses green energy as a big selling point. Installing green technology whenever possible will give prospective tenants additional incentive to rent your building space.

The fact that it will help to save the planet isn’t the only reason to install solar panels. You will save significantly on your gas or energy bills by becoming less reliant on outside energy sources to heat your water. You can use these savings to add to your profits, or pass the savings along to your tenants.

Of course, using solar power to heat water is not a new idea. Scientists are known to have experimented with the idea of using the suns energy to heat water since the mid nineteenth century. However, while the technology has come a long way since then, until recently solar power was of limited use for heating in cold or cloudy locations. And yet these are the places where energy bills are at their highest. The recent development of vacuum sealed solar heating tubes, however, are making it possible for an increasing number of people to make use of this green energy technology.

Solar heating tubes’ cylindrical shape allows them to be positioned to ensure that part of their surface is continuously facing the sun, allowing the cylinders to absorb solar energy throughout the day. As they can harness the sun’s rays more efficiently, they are offer a more reliable alternative to solar panels, heating water even during the winter and on cold days. Being vacuum sealed further helps their efficiency as vacuums provide the ideal conditions for insulating the heat source. Because of this less energy is wasted. The heating element on the center of the tube will become hot, but the outside of the tube, insulated by the vacuum, continues to be cool. All of this leads to much more of the solar power being stored and put to use heating the building’s water.

Your building’s boiler system or hot water heater uses up a sizable chunk of the power used in your building. You can lower your energy bills and those of your tenants significantly by installing solar heating tubes and using the sun’s energy to your advantage. You only need purchase and install your solar heating tubes once, after that the savings will last a lifetime.

There has never been a better time than now begin the process of using green energy sources such as solar heating tubes. Governments the world over are now offering significant incentives for building owners to install a solar energy system which generates sustainable, renewable energy sources. Governments will often cover the cost of installing solar panels or award you a tax rebate of equivalent value. Sooner or later, every building will have to use some kind of renewable energy. It would be much better to act now, while the government will help defray some of the costs.
