Labradoodles

Labradoodles are a very fun and loving pet that has only recently been available. These terrific dogs were only introduced into the world a few decades ago as the breed that we all know and love, though there was a mention of a Labradoodle in the 1955 book, “Into the Water Barrier” by Sir Donald Campbell. The dogs that arrived in 1988 were specially bred for their genetic qualities and the bloodlines were specifically chosen and tested produce the proper temperament and other necessary requirements.

Labradoodles where initially bred to be guide dogs for people with allergies to fur and dander. The Labrador parent would bring in the gentle spirit and intelligence to be trained and the Poodle parent would bring a low shedding coat. Since their introduction, the Labradoodles have been requested by numerous people wanting a family friendly, loving, and quiet pet that would not shed terribly.
